A suspension solution is a solution in which the solute particles are suspended. The particles of the suspension solution show Tyndall effect (when light is passed through the solution, the light disperses and the solution becomes glowy). The size of suspension particles is greater than 1000 nanometers ( 1 nm is 10^-7 cm). The solute particles are heavier, hence they themselves settle down after sometime.
