Sustainable development is a development in which we meet the need of present requirements without taking the ability of need of future generation.

Sustainable development is basically done with the aim to conserve resources for the future development. If we continuously use resources from Earth's surface then one day it will be exhaust so , in order to conserve and protect the resources the government follow the concept 'sustainable development' so that our need/wants get fulfilled without any effect on the stock of resources.

Examples of sustainable development:

  • wind energy
  • solar energy
  • crop rotation
  • Green space etc.

  • Rate of consumption should not exceed the rate of conservation.
  • For renewable resources: the rate of consumption should not cross the rate of production.
  • Proper/balanced use of natural resources.
  • it works at reducing pollution.

  • To remove hunger , to achieve a good safety, to improve diet and to get a sustainable agriculture
