Sustainable development is a development which takes place without harming the environment and is economical to reserve Resources for future generation.

It is important for development because It does not harm our environment and also preserve resources for our future generation. It is economical and for the betterment of people.

So In other words, It won't cause global warming, world hunger and poverty. Because It is for the welfare of all.

Some Examples :-

Wind Energy :-

Wind energy is a good example of sustainable development because it uses no non-renewable resources an thus causes no pollution. It uses the wind force to turn its wings around which in turn generates electricity. The doing up of wind mills cost an arm and a leg tho. The windmills are usually put up in a plain region.

Solar Energy :-

Solar energy is also a good example of sustainable development because It doesn't cause any pollution and is eco-friendly. It harnesses the energy of sun and converts it into electricity. It usually operates throughout the year. There are thousands of small solar cells in the solar panel which uses the light energy.

This can be put even over the roof of houses and would produces enough electricity to power the whole house.
