A switch is a control unit that they turns flow of electricity on or off in a circuit.
Its differ from HUB in that way:
1)A switch connect is used to connect various network segment where as HUB connect multiple Ethernet devices togethe.
2)Switch can provide communcation between anypair of parts on the other hand logically hub work like as a bus it transmitted to all connection.
