Answer:
Commensalism is a symbiotic relationship in which one species benefits while the other species is not affected. One species typically uses the other for a purpose other than food. For example, mites attach themselves to larger flying insects to get a “free ride.” Hermit crabs use the shells of dead snails for homes.

Answer:
- Some organisms live together and share both shelter and nutrients. This relation is called, symbiotic relationship.
- For example, certain fungi live inside the roots of plants and provides nutrients to the fungus and, in return, the fungus provides water and certain nutrients. Litchens, Rhizobium, bacteria, Alga are also ex. of such plants.
- The bacterium called Rhizobium can take atmospheric nitrogen and convert it into an usable form, but Rhizobium can't make its own food, so it often lives in the roots of gram, peas, moong, beans and other legumes and provides them with nitrogen. In return, the plants provide food and shelter to the bacteria.
