the gap between two neurones is called synaps the electrical impulse from one neurone goes to nerve ending and converted into neurotransmitters this neurotransmitters pass from presynaptic nerve to post synaptic nerve on postsynaptic nerve there are receptors which receives neurotransmitters and now this neurotransmitters converted into nerve impulse again
