Synapse is the junction between two adjustment neuron or nerve cells, i.e. between axon ending of one and the dendrite of the next. Transmission of Nerve Impulse. The information acquired at the end of the dendritic tip of a neuron sets off a chemical reaction which creates an electrical impulse.
