What is syntax error ?

Hi. All programming languages have a set of rules that are to be followed while writing the code in that language. This set of rules is termed as 'Syntax'. A syntax error is said to occur when the code written has some error in the code or if the syntax of the language wasn't followed. Hope it helps!

SYNTAX ERROR IS AN ERROR IN A SOURCE CODE OF A PROGRAM.

FOR EXAMPLE:-

A MISSING SEMICOLON AT THE END OF THE LINE OR EXTRA BRACKETS AT THE END OF A FUNCTION MAY PRODUE A SYNTAX ERROR.
