synthetic fiber and are synthetic fibre are fibres made by human through chemical synthesis as opposed to natural fibre that are directly derived from living organism. there are the result of extensive research by scientist to improve open naturally occurring animal and plant fibres.

some fibres are called synthetic fibres because these are man made fibres prepared by using chemicals. these are made of small units that jin together to form long chains. some of the example of synthetic fibres are nylon , rayon , acrylic, polyester , etc.
