SYSTEMATIC ERROR :-

THE ERROR DUE TO FAULTY APPARATUS AND POOR CALIBERATION OF THE INSTRUMENT ITSELF IS CALLED SYSTEMATIC ERROR

THE ERROR ALSO ARISE DUE TO ZERO ERROR AS IN VERNIER CALLIPER , SCREW GAUGE AND SPHEROMETER .

THIS ERROR CAN BE REMOVED BY COMPARING THE FAULTY INSTRUMENT WITH SOME ACCURATE AND STANDARD INSTRUMENT . THE DIFFERENCE OF THE TWO CAN BE ADDED OR SUBTRACTED TO THE MEASUREMENT.

IF THE ERROR IS POSITIVE THEN IT WILL BE SUBTRACTED FROM FAULTY INSTRUMENT READING FOR CORRECTNESS AND IF THE ERROR IS NEGATIVE THEN IT WILL BE ADDED TO THE FAULTY APPARATUS MEASUREMENT TO CORRECT THE MEASUREMENT .
