The fibres which are made in factories by using appropriate chemicals is known as synthetic fibre. Nylon, Terylene & rayon are some examples of Synthetic Fibre.
Synthetic fibres are better than Natural fibres in some respects. They are stronger, Wrinkle-free, have fast colour, do not shrink and aren't spoiled by moths.

Synthetic fiber or synthetic fibre are fibers made by humans through chemical synthesis, as opposed to natural fibers that are directly derived from living organisms. They are the result of extensive research by scientists to improve upon naturally occurring animal and plant fiber
