● Tautomerism -
- Tautomers are constitutional isomers of chemical compounds that readily interconvert. This phenomenon of existence of tautomers is called tautomerism.

There are several types of tautomerism -

1) Eetone – enol tautomerism -
H−O−C=CH ⇌ O=C−CH2

2) Enamine – imine tautomerism -
H2N−C=N ⇌ HN=C−NH
