A PROTOCOL OF TRANSPORT LAYER THAT ENSURES RELIABLE TRANSMISSION OF DATA.TCP BREAKS THE DATA INTO PROPER SIZED CHUNKS AND PASSES THESE CHUNKS ONTO THE NETWORK. THE TERM RELIABLE CONNECTION IS USE FOR TCP  B'COZ IT ENSURES NOT TO lose ANY CHUNK THAT IS BEING transferred THROUGH THIS NETWORK.
