The degree of Hotness n' Coldness is called as Temperature.

Temperature represents how much vibrational energy exists in the molecules of a liquid or solid, or the translational energy of molecules or atoms in a gas.

The intensity of heat present in a object which can be of the weather, human's body, animal's body, solutions or any substance is termed as Temperature.
Its measured in Kelvin, degree Celsius, degree Fahrenheit etc.
The SI unit is Kelvin (K). 
Temperature can be recorded through thermometers.
