Answer:

Temperature :

Temperature is a reliable measure of the degree of hotness or coldness .It tell us that how a body is cold or hot . When body is hot then temperature goes to high and when body is cold then temperature goes to low. we use a devise called thermometer to measure temperature .

There are three types of scale for measurement of temperature :

1] Celsius Scale

2] Fahrenheit Scale

3] Kelvin Scale

1] Celsius Scale

 Celsius Scale , the most commonly used scale for measuring temperature was developed by Anders Celsius.

 On this Scale uses 0 degree C as the melting point of water and 100 degree C as the boiling water and 0 degree C between 100 degree C , the scale is divided into 100 equal parts .

2] Fahrenheit Scale

 Fahrenheit scale was developed by Gabriel Fahrenheit .

 On this scale the freezing point of water is 32 degree F and the boiling point is 212 degree F . Between 32 degree F And 212 Degree F , the scale is divided into 180 equal parts .

3] Kelvin Scale

 Kelvin Scale was invented by Lord Kelvin and it is used mostly by scientists in laboratories all over the world .

 On this Scale the freezing point of water is 273 K [approx.]  and the boiling point is 373 K
