hey mate

here is your answer

The Ten percent law of transfer of energy from one trophic level to the next was introduced by Raymond Lindeman (1942).

According to this law, during the transfer of energy from organic food from one trophic level to the next, only about ten percent of the energy from organic matter is stored as flesh.

According to 10 percent law, 90% of the energy captured from the previous trophic level is lost as heat to the environment and only 10 percent is made available to the next trophic level. Energy flow is from environmental sunlight to producers, producers to primary consumers, primary consumers to secondary consumers and so on.

Plants----->Mice------->Snake------->Eagle

Here, Energy incorporated in plants = 10,000 J

Energy transferred to mice from plants = 10% of 10,000 J

= 10*10000/100 = 1000 J

Energy transferred to snake from mice = 10% of 1000 J

= 10*1000/100 = 100 J

Energy transferred to snake from mice = 10% of 100 J

= 10*100/100 = 10 J

Energy available for the eagle = 10 J
