\large\underline{Viz:-}

The abbreviation viz is short for the Latin videlicet, which itself is a contraction of the Latin phrase videre licet, meaning "it is permitted to see".

Broadly speaking there are five known states of matter viz –

1) the solid state

2) the liquid state

3), the gaseous state

4), the plasma,

5) the Bose-Einstein condensate.
