Alignment refers to the positioning of text in a table cell. alignment is applied on the text entered in a cell.by default the text is aligned to the top of the cell.you will find six alignments buttons on the layout tab that is align top,center,vertically,align bottom etc.
→select any cell entry
→click on center vertically button in the alignment group on the layout tab.observe the changes in the text alignment
