Adding Text Effects

Adding additional features for text include background color, making text as blur, changing font color, outlining the text, changing font size, changing font style, and shadowing the text.

Text effects can be added in word document as follows:

• Choose the text for which text effects are to be added.

• Right click on the text.

• Choose the desired changes and apply, as shown in the figure.



The styles can also be added to the text from the style group under the Home tab as show:



• Select the text, and apply any of the style from the list.

• Click on the Change Style, option next to the styles.



• Select the way the text needs to be changed.

○ If the style is needed to be changed select a style from the Style Set.

○ If the color has to be changed, then select any of the built-in color in the Colors or create a new color and apply to the text.

○ If it is necessary to modify the font, select a font type from the Fonts.
