all of them are the phyllum which comes under Kingdom plantae:
•Thallophyta: plants with thalloid body that is with undifferentiated root, shoot and stem system they are considered as the most simple type of plants.eg-basically all the algae belong to this group for instance volvox, chlamydomonas, etc.
•Bryophyta:these plants are a bit differentiated but they do not have leaves and they are found near the surface of water .eg-mosses
•Pteridophyta:they are much diffentiated and first seed habit is found in them the are found near the surface of water as they need water for their reproduction.eg-salveginalla

- All these comes under the " CLASSIFICATION OF KINGDOM PLANTAE " .
- Plants that do not have well differentiated body design fall in this group.
- The plants in this group are commonly called algae.
- These plants are predominantly aquatic.
- Examples : Spirogyra , Ulothrix , Chara etc.
- These are also known as amphibians of the plant kingdom.
- The plant body is commonly differentiated to form stem and leaf like structures.
- However, there is no specialized tissue for the conduction of water and other substances from one part of the plant body to another.
- Examples : moss and Marchantia.
- The plant body is differentiated into roots, stem and leaves and has specialized tissue for the conduction of water and other substances from one part of the plant body to another.
- Some examples : Ferns , Horse - tails etc.
- The thallophytes , the bryophytes and the pteridophytes have naked embryos that are called spores.
- The reproductive organs of plants in all these three groups are very inconspicuous , and they are therefore called ' cryptogamae'. or' those with hidden reproductive organs.'
