Its the wall nearly about 96 miles which divided countrys capital into two halves then after civilian protest they broke the wall.

Berlin was constructed between the borders of East Germany and West Germany in the 1961. The city of Berlin was split in to two parts by the division. GDR justified the wall as they wanted to protect the people from the influence of western fascist forces.
West Germany was under the influence of democratic policies and East Germany was inclined towards the communism.
During 1990 or 1989 the wall was destroyed and the two countries united again as Germany. A lot of people on both sides of the wall felt that the division between them was not justified. They felt that being together is more important than the political barriers. All people brought household weapons and broke the wall and hugged each other in reunion. Even the armed forces gave them support.
