Hey Pretty Stranger!

 \sf \purple{First \:  Law \:  of \:  Motion  : }

The First Law of Motion states that a body at rest will remain at rest, and a body in motion will continue in motion in a straight line with a uniform speed, unless it is completed by an external force to change its state of rest or of uniform motion.

Suppose a book is lying on the table. It is at rest. The book won't change its position by itself. It can change its position only when compelled by the force of our hands. Position of book has been changed by the external force of our hands. This observation supports the first part of first aw of motion

If we stop pedalling a bicycle,which is moving at a uniform speed, the bicycle doesn't go on moving for ever, it comes to rest after some time. The moving bicycle has been compelled to change its state of uniform motion by the external force of air resistance and friction. This observation supports the second part of first aw of motion.

Answer:

hlooo

Explanation:

first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force. This is normally taken as the definition of inertia. ... And if an additional external force is applied, the velocity will change because of the force.
