• If two lines are drawn which intersect a third in such a way that the sum of the inner angles on one side is less than two right angles, then the two lines inevitably must intersect each other on that side if extended far enough.

5th postulate states that:-
If a straight line falling on two two straight lines makes the interior angles on the same side of it taken together is less than the two right angles,then the two straight lines if produced infinitely, meet on that side on which the sum of the angles is less than two right right angles.
