Answer:Highest resistance can be obtained from series connection
Rs=R1 + R2 + R3 + R4
Least resistance can be obtained from parallel connection
1/Rp=1/R1+1/R2+1/R3+1/R4

Answer:
lets R1=4Ω, R2=8Ω, R3=12Ω, R4=24Ω
highest resistance(Rs)= R1+R2+R3+R4
= 4+8+12+24
= 98Ω
Lowest resistance(1/Rp)= 1/R1+ 1/R2+ 1/R3 + 1/R4
= 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/12 + 1/24
= 6+3+2+1/24
= 12/24
1/Rp= 1/2
Rp= 2Ω
