Using , S= ut + 1/2 at*2 , where "S" is distance travelled , "u" is initial velocity of the body , "t" is time taken , "a" is acceleration of the body.

According to question ;

u=0, S=s , t=2

Now subsituting the values given in the question in the above equation , we get;

s=0(2) + 1/2a(2)*2

s=4a/2

s=2a

Hence, a = s/2
