Given that ,

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Final velocity (v) = 16 m/s

Time (t) = 4 sec

We know that , the acceleration of a body is given by

 \large \sf \fbox{Acceleration \:  (a)  =  \frac{v - u}{t} }

Thus ,

 \sf \mapsto a =  \frac{16 - 0}{4}  \\  \\ \sf \mapsto  a = 4 \:  \: m/ {s}^{2}

 \therefore \sf \underline{The  \: acceleration \:  is \:  4  \: m/ {s}^{2} }
