=0.5 m/s^2

hope this helps!

oly2: Answer will be 2m/sec²
hitarthgodhani: how!??
oly2: 24÷12=2
oly2: If 12÷24=. 5
hitarthgodhani: ohh sorry!

Explanation:

Given

Initial velocity= 24m/s

Final velocity = 0 ( since she is coming to a rest )

time = 12 s

∴ acceleration = final velocity - initial velocity / time

= 0 – 24 / 12

= –24/12

= –2m/s
