What is the acceleration of a stone of mass 200g as it falls through water ? Assume that the volume of the stone is 80 cm 3 , density of water is 1 .0 g cm -3 and g = 10 m s -2

Acceleration, a=\frac{f}{m} = \frac{1.2}{200} X 100 = 6m/s^{2}
