what is the acceleration of a tennis ball if initially it comes towards the players racquet at 20m/s and it leaves the opposite direction at 24m/s . a high speed camera indicates the time of impact of 4.0m/s

final velocity in opposite direction (v2) =24 m/s

time of impact=4msec=4×10−3sec

acceleration=change in velocitytime taken

=v2−(−v1)/4×10−3  

= 20+24/4×10−3

=11000 m/s² _______answer
