What is the acceleration required to change the velocity of an object from 20 m/s to 40 m/s across displacement of 40 m.

Hey Mate here is your answer.

Given:-

u=20m/s v=40m/s s=40m

To find:- Acceleration(a)

Solution:-

→v²=u²+2as [3rd equation of motion]

→(40)²=(20)²+2×a×40m

→1600-400=80a

→1200÷80=a

15m/s=a
