Acidity of bases can be defined as the number of replaceable hydroxyl groups present in a base which it can release when dissolved in water or it is in aqueous medium or solution.
Bases like sodium hydroxide and potassium Hydroxide have acidity equal to one because it has only one hydroxyl ions. These are monoacid bases. Bases like calcium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are diacid bases because they have acidity equal to two.
