Egg shell is made up of calcium carbonate, effervescence of bubbles occurs at the egg shell due to the production of Carbon dioxide. It reacts with hydrochloric acid (HCl) to form calcium chloride, water & Carbon dioxide . After dissolving the egg shell, the egg content or protein flows out.
