What is the actual difference between alicyclic and aromatic hydrocarbons?

Aromatic hydrocarbons are cyclichydrocarbons with alternative double bonds in conjugation which contains 4n+2 number ofpi-electrons. Alicyclic hydrocarbons are thosecompounds which contain ring of3 or more carbon atoms which resemble aliphatic (acyclic)hydrocarbons in their properties.
