Hey,

Question :-

What is the additive inverse of 5/0

Solution :-

0, as the solution of 5/0 is zero itself. So the additive inverse of 0 is 0.

Further Information :-

1. The reciprocal of any number is called multiplicative inverse. For example

:- a/b = b/a

:- 12/22 =22/12

2. Flipping the numbers upside down is called reciprocal. For example

:- a/b = b/a

:- 22/12 = 12/22

3. Changing the negation of any number is called additive inverse. For example

:- a/-b = a/b

:- 12/-22 = 12/22

4. Fraction represents the number of parts we have out of the whole. For example

:- 8/9

(where the total pieces are 9 and we have 8 pieces out of them and here 8 is the numerator and 9 is the denominator)

5. Fractions which represents same value are called equivalent fractions. For example

:- 4/8 could be written as 1/2

Hope That Helps :)
