What is the admirable of the school boy in the Blake school boy
Answers
‘The School Boy’ is a poem written by William Blake. The poem is about a schoolboy expressing his views on his daily attendance of education inside a closed room. The young boy expresses that he loves the summer morn to wake up and check on and experience the joy of nature. He loves to hear the birds sing and the hunters fight. These are the type of company that he really wished for.
But he has to wake up on bright summer morns to forcibly attend the school where he spends a plastic life. He takes no pleasure the whole day and keeps waiting for the end of the day.
The poem is all about the school boy’s pain and the boy’s idea of learning which is not just general but he would appreciate reading and education if the structure was not that plastic and lifeless.
