With the aim of making the first outing with the revised assessment criteria for Class 10th students, Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released revised criteria for passing marks for Class 10th Board Exams 2018. The revised criteria now require an overall 33% as against the separate pass percent in the internal and external examination. The new criteria, as released by CBSE yesterday, is explained below. Also, in a recent circular, CBSE has also permitted the use of computers to write the examination for CSWN candidates

The move is sure to ease the stress off the Class X students who would be appearing in the CBSE Class X Board Examination 2018 after a gap of considerable years, CBSE has released special one-time passing criteria. As per the new passing criteria released, CBSE has dispensed with its mandate to secure pass percentage in theory and practical papers for the academic year 2017-18 and would be considering the pass percentage of 33% with both the papers combined. This includes the marks out of 20 given to students in the internal examination as well as the marks obtained by the
students in the board examination out of 80

plz mark as brainliest answer.............cheers!

Rishabh009: Physics+Chemistry+Biology+Maths
Rishabh009: (PCMB)
eminemrules101: Okay, so u need to individually pass in all subjects (math, sci, soc, eng, lang) and then in ur core subjects I.e. in sci and math, u should preferably get above 95%
eminemrules101: we can’t be sure of the percentage as it varies from school to school
Rishabh009: ok bro thnx
eminemrules101: for example, ur school, lets say everyone gets 98% then, the percentage will be above 98%

Firstly, u need to individually pass in all subjects (math, sci, soc, eng, lang) and then in ur core subjects I.e. in sci and math, u should preferably get above 95% because PCMB is your preferred group.

This percentage which I have named isn’t not a fixed percentage- it differs from school to school.
For example, if ure school, lets say everyone’s gets 98% in sci and math, then the cutoff will go above 98% for the core subjects.

Hope it helps ya
