Secondary cell are rechargeable and primary cell are not rechargeable.
We can use primary cell only once, but secondary cells can be used i.e, reverse reaction is possible in these cells.

Answer:

The advantage of secondary cells is that they are rechargeable. The chemical reactions that take place in secondary cells are reversible. The active materials that are used up when the cell delivers current can be reproduced by passing current through the cell in opposite direction.

They have the advantage ofconvenience and cost less per battery, with the down side of costing more over the long term. Generally, primary batteries have a higher capacity and initial voltage than rechargeable batteries, and a sloping discharge curve . There are many advantages of primary cell.
