what is the advantage of the dependence of the weavers on the merchants

1)  Weaver’s cooperatives reduces the dependence on merchants in order to enable weavers earn higher income. In such cooperatives, weavers form a group and take up certain activities collectively.

 

2) They procure yarn from the yarn dealer and distribute among their group. When they sell directly to the customers through this group, they are capable of earning better income and also the dependence of merchants is reduced

 

3)  Hence, the benefit is higher in cooperative societies than cloth merchants
