What is the advantage of using seed drill over broadcasting for sowing

It maintains the proper distance between the seeds...... and when the seeds having proper distance between them they will be able to take proper amount of sunlight water and minerals and they will be healthy in future.....

seed drill sow the seed at proper distance and the seed can have proper whereas broadcasting would be unequal distance.these by seed drill we can have good crops since it can utilize proper things like sun water etc . there would be no competition
