As Q = It

where Q is the quantity of electricity in coloumbs, I is the current in amperes = 1A  and t is the time in seconds

Total charge carried  = 2 x 30 x 60  = 3600 C

Now, since 96500 C of charge deposits 35.5 g chlorine. Thus -

= 3600 C of charge will deposit

= 35.5/96500 x 3600

= 1.32 g

Therefore, the amount of chlorine evolved when 2 amperes of current is passed for 30 minutes in an aqueous solution of NaCl is 1.32g.
