Given :-

The forces of 5N and 5N force resultant is 0

To find :-

Angle between them

_____________________________

Solution :-

As we know that,

The Resultant forces is given by :-

fᵣ = √(f₁)² +( f₂)² + 2f₁f₂ cosθ

So,

•f₁ = 5 N

• f₂ = 5N

•fᵣ = 0 N

Substituting the values ,

0 = √(5)² + (5)² + 2(5)(5) cosθ

0 = √25+25 + 50 cosθ

0 = √50 + 50 cosθ

Squaring on the both sides .

0 = 50+50 cosθ

-50 = 50 cosθ

cosθ = -50/50

cosθ = -1

-1 can be written as cos180°

cosθ = cos180°

So,

θ = 180°

So, the angle between the given forces is 180°.
