GivEn:

  • Ā = 5i - 5j
  • B = 7/2i - 7/2j

To find:

  • The angle between them?

Solution:

In order to calculate the angle between them, We have to use,

Cos theta = A . B/|A||B|

Here,

  • A . B = Dot product of A bar & B Bar.
  • |A||B| = Mod of A & B.

« By applying it,

⇒5(7/2) + 5(-7/2)/|A||B|

⇒– 24.5 + 24.5/|A||B|

⇒(0)/(√5² + 5²√7/2² + 7/2²)

⇒(0)/(√50√24.5)

⇒0/35

⇒Cos θ = 0°

⇒θ = Cos^-1 0°

⇒θ = 90°

∴ Hence, The angle between the two vectors is 9.
