Given: The vector p+q and p-q

To find: what is the angle between p and resultant of (P + q) and (P - q)

Solution:

  • Now we have given the vectors (P + q) and (P - q)
  • So the resultant of these two will be:

p + q + p - q = 2p

  • Now 2p is parallel to p
  • The resultant of this vector is twice in magnitude of vector P but having  same direction.
  • Therefore angle is 0°.

Answer:

So hence the angle between p and the resultant of p+q and p-q will be equal to zero.
