What is the angle between the two hands at 8.20 o'clock? (a) 150 degree (b) 120 degree (c) 250 degree (d) 320 degree?

option B 120 degree is right ans.
bz total angles in watch in a complete circle is 360°
so 360/12 = 30 °
now calculate difference between numbers .
given time 8:20
so we will get number 8 and 4
so diff 8-4= 4
now multiply diff = 4x30°= 120°
and other angle which it makes is 360-120= 240 which isn't given in options

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

We know that,

60 minutes = 360°

Angle between 1 minute = 360/60 = 6°

Minutes minutes between the two hands at 8:20 O'clock = 20

Angle between 20 minutes = 20 × 6 = 120°

Hence, The answer is 120°
