Answer:

The required angle is 45°.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : What is the angle made by vector of \vec{a}=2i +2j with x axis?

Solution :

The formula to fin the angle between vector and x-axis,

\cos\theta=\frac{A_x}{\sqrt{A_x^2+A_y^2+A_z^2}}

Here, A_x=2,A_y=2,A_z=0

Substitute in the formula,

\cos\theta=\frac{2}{\sqrt{2^2+2^2+0^2}}

\cos\theta=\frac{2}{\sqrt{4+4+0}}

\cos\theta=\frac{2}{\sqrt{8}}

\cos\theta=\frac{2}{2\sqrt{2}}

\cos\theta=\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}

\cos\theta=cos(45)

\theta=45^\circ

Therefore, The required angle is 45°.
