What is the angle subtended at the Earth by the Sun ? If the distance of the Sun from Earth is 150000000000 and its diameter is 1400000000 m.

since , the distance between Sun and Earth is very large . so, diameter of sun is considered as arc of sun which is = 1400000000

Now, theta = length of arc/ radius

theta= 1400000000/150000000000

= 7/750 radian

Or ( 7/750×π\180)°
