rationalise this

you get =(3+root2)^2/7

= (9 +2+6root2)/7

=(11+6root2)/7

a= 11/7 and b =6/7

 \frac{3 +  \sqrt{2} }{3 -  \sqrt{2} }  \times  \frac{3 +  \sqrt{2} }{3 +  \sqrt{2} }

 =  > \frac{(3 +  \sqrt{2} )^{2}  }{ {3}^{2}  -  {( \sqrt{2)} }^{2}  }

 =  > \frac{9 + 6 \sqrt{2} + 2 }{9 - 2}

 =  >  \frac{11 + 6 \sqrt{2} }{7}

 =  >  \frac{11}{7}  +  \frac{6 \sqrt{2} }{7}

hence \:  \: a =  \frac{11}{7} b =  \frac{6}{7}

uvcfhj: thanks
sabrinanandini2: wello ❤
