Given :

  • 4+3 ( x + 2) = 10

To find :

  • the value of x

Solution :

 \implies4+3 ( x + 2) = 10

 \implies4+3x + 6 = 10

 \implies4 + 6+3x= 10

 \implies10+3 x = 10

Now arrange like terms together :-

 \implies3 x = 10 - 10

 \implies3 x = 0

 \implies \: x =  \dfrac{0}{3}

 \implies \: x = 0

Answer : x = 0

Verification of answer :-

To verify your answer put x = 0 in the given equation :- 4+3 ( x + 2) = 10.

If we get RHS = LHS then our answer is correct.

 \implies \:LHS = 4+3 ( x + 2)

put x = 0

\implies \:LHS = 4+3 ( 0 + 2)

\implies \:LHS = 4+3 ( 2)

\implies \:LHS = 4+6

\implies \:LHS = 10

therefore , RHS = LHS.

Hence verified
