What is the answer for these 2 questions please?

1) If a substance was cold and dry, what element did the Greeks think it was made of?

2) What properties would a material have to show for the Greeks to decide that it contained fire?

1) Before Greeks thought that there were 4 elements and in that ,earth is the cold and dry element.
2) to show that something contains fire it must have this property:- hot and dry
