ANS- The stages of fertilization can be divided into four processes:

1) sperm preparation,

2) sperm-egg recognition and binding,

3) sperm-egg fusion and

4) fusion of sperm and egg pronuclei and activation of the zygote.

b)Write the three differences between internal and external fertilization​

ANS-  Internal fertilization is the process when the syngamy (union of male and female gamete) occurs inside the female body after insemination using copulation. In contrast, External fertilization is the syngamy outside the female body, that is in the outer environment especially in water bodies
